We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Water and Sewer Technician to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on water and sewer infrastructure to ensure the reliable delivery of essential utility services to the community. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain water mains, sewer lines, manholes, valves, and hydrants
• Locate and mark water and sewer lines for excavation and repairs
• Respond to service calls, water main breaks, and sewer blockages
• Perform routine maintenance on water meters and wastewater systems
• Inspect lines and systems for leaks, clogs, or damage
• Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Document work performed, materials used, and maintenance activities

Work Environment:

Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and involves exposure to dirt, water, sewage, and physical hazards. Safety awareness and physical stamina are essential.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in utilities, plumbing, or construction preferred
• Basic knowledge of water and sewer systems
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, dig, and work in confined spaces and various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
