Are you passionate about powersports and eager to keep vehicles performing at their peak? As a Powersports Technician, you will be the driving force behind diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of powersports equipment, including motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft. Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using specialized automotive and powersports tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
  • Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and vehicle inspections.
  • Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems with precision and efficiency.
  • Assemble new equipment or parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to ensure proper fit and function.
  • Assist customers by explaining repairs needed and providing recommendations for ongoing vehicle care or upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate service records detailing repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
  • Uphold safety standards by following proper procedures for heavy lifting, welding, soldering, and handling hazardous materials.
Requirements
  • Proven dealership experience or service technician background working on powersports or automotive vehicles.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands‑on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake repair, suspension work, assembly, and general mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other workshop instrumentation.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients about repairs and maintenance recommendations.
  • Valid mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair principles; dealership experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and diagnostic software is a plus.
