Description
You will be the Warehouse Shift Supervisor for the Warehouse Operations Team. Our team is responsible for overseeing material‑handling and support activities, optimizing inventory, and ensuring seamless integration with production and logistics.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Warehouse Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for leading daily warehouse functions, driving efficiency, and fostering a high‑performing team.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage receiving, put‑away, inventory storage, order picking, packaging, and shipping operations.
- Recruit, train, and lead warehouse staff; conduct performance evaluations and handle recognition.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while maintaining system integrity.
- Generate operational reports and coordinate with production planners and logistics partners.
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives to reduce costs and improve accuracy.

LocationThis position is in Lufkin, Texas.
Basic Qualifications- Minimum of three to five years of hands‑on warehouse or distribution‑center experience.
- Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and have a solid understanding of basic Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) concepts, inventory‑control methods such as cycle counting, FIFO/LIFO, and comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel for reporting.
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN; the facility requires special access.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication, ability to coach and motivate diverse teams.
- Solid conflict‑resolution and decision‑making abilities.

Work SchedulesLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from a standard 40‑hour over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. This position follows a 4×10 hour day schedule, 3 days off per week.
