Shipping Receiving Clerk

The shipping and receiving clerk is responsible for conducting the wide variety of warehouse activities including but not limited to, receiving, loading/unloading raw materials and/or finished goods, picking/filling customer orders from warehouse inventory, palletizing product, daily inventory accountability and daily warehouse housekeeping per the warehouse manager or supervisor instructions.

• Participates in daily warehouse shipping/receiving duties: loading/unloading incoming materials/supplies; prepares customer orders for shipment (palletizing); lifts up to 30-50 lbs. repetitively throughout a shift.
• Moves product through various stages of storage and shipping using a handheld scanner.
• Conducts daily housekeeping of work areas according to GMPS.
• Arrives on time for assigned shift.
• Ensures all equipment is in operable order and secured at close of business; reports any issues to supervisor.
• Adheres to all safety rules when operating equipment in and around assigned area of operations; reports all safety issues to supervisor.
• Pick/pull orders accurately to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensures warehouse efficiency by maintaining order of inventory.
• Checks with supervisor prior to end of shift to ensure all tasks are complete and if any change to work schedule.
• Understands job duties and seeks clarification when in doubt.
• Maintains maturity to make sound decisions within guidance and instructions provided.
• Exhibits a team player attitude.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (E.D.) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to multi-task and learn from example.
• Must be able to walk or stand for at least a period of 8 hours, bend, walk and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to operate a forklift, electric and manual pallet jacks, and other designated equipment assigned to the Warehouse Department.

$15.50 per hour;
Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
