The MRO Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, indirect goods and services (including transportation and facility management), across a global supply base. This role ensures supply continuity, drives cost savings and fosters robust supplier relationships, and mitigates supply risk in support of organizational objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for MRO, packaging, indirect materials, and services aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct spend analysis, market research, and supplier benchmarking to identify cost reduction and optimization opportunities.
- Lead bid evaluations, and supplier selection processes.
- Identify, qualify, and onboard global suppliers based on cost, quality, capacity, risk, and compliance.
- Lead commercial negotiations with domestic and international suppliers.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts in partnership with Legal and Compliance.
- Maintain master service agreements and long-term supply agreements.
- Establish supplier KPIs, scorecards, and governance models.
- Conduct supplier business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proactively manage supplier risk and continuity planning.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on sourcing policies. SAP and global procurement standards.
- Utilize SAP and Ariba for sourcing, supplier onboarding, purchasing, and reporting.
- Provide sourcing metrics, savings tracking, and budget adherence reporting.
- Lead sourcing process improvements.
- Mentor buyers and junior sourcing professionals.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain operations.
- Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
