Job Summary: Concrete laborers are essential to the production of precast plant manufactured underground utility structures, such as manholes, drainage systems, grease traps, catch basins, and more. In this role, you will be working with others to reinforce structures, align molds, pour concrete according to standards, place and carry precast materials, and all other aspects related to the position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and align them.
• Assist with pouring and finishing concrete.
• Vibrate concrete forms to ensure quality standards are met.
• Set, place, and secure rebar when molding reinforced concrete structures.
• Assist in stripping finished concrete products from forms.
• Prepare and clean surface areas.
• Assist with cleaning plant and equipment.
• Maintain the safety of the work environment for yourself and your crewmates.

Position Requirements

• Pre‑employment drug screen required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, 8‑10 hrs / day and up to 6 days / week.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. intermittently during the shift.
• Ability to kneel, bend, crouch, and sustain stamina for manual outdoor labor (elemental exposure, loud noises, vibrations, offensive smells, dust, dirt, water, and sometimes extreme temperatures).
• Ability to identify safety hazards and communicate them to others.
• Knowledge of hand‑held and power tools related to concrete construction.
• Ability to work outdoors in high heat and cold weather.
