Speech Pathologist
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available within a K-12 public school setting in Lumberton, NC. This contract role spans the school years, from August 13, 2025, through May 27, 2027, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The caseload will include elementary, middle, and high school students, reflecting a diverse and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct speech and language assessments, evaluations, and screenings for students across K-12 grade levels.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
- Must hold an active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license; out-of-state license holders may be considered if they can obtain NC licensure by June or July.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Prior experience working with school-aged children across various grade levels.
- Ability to work onsite full-time; remote or vocational accommodations are not available.
- Willingness to travel within the specified region as needed.
