A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available within a K-12 public school setting in Lumberton, NC. This contract role spans the  school years, from August 13, 2025, through May 27, 2027, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The caseload will include elementary, middle, and high school students, reflecting a diverse and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech and language assessments, evaluations, and screenings for students across K-12 grade levels.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Must hold an active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license; out-of-state license holders may be considered if they can obtain NC licensure by June or July.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children across various grade levels.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time; remote or vocational accommodations are not available.
  • Willingness to travel within the specified region as needed.
