McCall Thomas Engineering Company, Inc. is hiring an Inspector (current project work is in the Lumberton, NC area).

• Patrolling and Inspection of overhead and underground fiber installations.
• Inspecting and ensuring OH and UG fiber is installed according to drawings and specifications.
• Ensuring all hardware is installed correctly and according to specifications.
• Documenting issues and ensuring required corrections are made construction crews.
• Generating red lines of changes to construction drawings.
• Ensuring that all fiber cable and fiber drop footages are correct.
• Ensuring that the fiber is placed in the entire circuit and that each RTD is placed at the correct location.
• Completing and submitting QC spreadsheet and paperwork.
• Checking on construction crews to ensure they are at the correct locations.
• Maintaining a professional working attitude with co-workers and customers at all times and adhering to safety practices and procedures.
• Additional responsibilities as directed by the Foreman/Construction Manager.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma.
• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship (required).
• Prior fiber construction or utility electrical inspection experience preferred.
