ICU Nurse
Job Description:
This ICU registered nurse role offers a hands‑on opportunity in a 19‑bed unit that combines ICU and step‑down care, with a dedicated Cardiac ICU. Your responsibilities include managing invasive lines, administering critical care drips, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and supporting complex patient needs such as respiratory failure, sepsis, post‑operative recovery, and various cardiac conditions. You’ll experience the unique rhythm of an ICU where every shift keeps you engaged in critical decision‑making, with an average patient ratio of 1:2-3.
The unit occasionally admits pediatric patients, adding a layer of supportive care, especially for PALS‑certified nurses. This assignment provides exposure to EPIC charting, invasive procedures, and collaboration with in‑house intensivists and a dedicated RT team. The shifts are 12 hours, with an alternating weekend schedule, and a holiday rotation, giving you a flexible yet demanding schedule tailored for experienced critical care professionals.
