- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
- 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.
- Experience with Epic is preferred.
- Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
- 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Simpli Fi Program - UNC Health southeastern and no current placement allowed at Program:
Simpli Fi Program - UNC Health southeastern.

Experience:
Experience caring for adults and pediatrics is required.
Required Credentials:
NCI required.
Medication exam required.
Permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
Unit Details:Mixed adult and pediatric patient population.
Uses BD Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and central pulse Ox monitoring.
Respiratory therapy and house supervisor available 24/7; intensivist available within 10 minutes overnight.
Every other weekend.
No call required.
Holiday rotation with other staff.
Floating within or below scope of practice.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
