Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for assisting in nursing services, delegating tasks, monitoring patient conditions, and communicating with physicians.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate nursing activities under RN supervision.
- Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms or adverse reactions.
- Notify physicians of emergencies and changes in patient status.
- Implement physician orders and assist with patient care as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma and graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies.
- Ability to deliver quality care, follow medical instructions, and show interest in geriatric nursing.
- Annual CPR certification and participation in staff training.
Additional requirements include background checks, drug-free workplace adherence, and a commitment to compassionate care.
