$13.50 to $17.00 per hour. Commission structure pays for every transaction processed. Retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.95 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. As a Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate, you partner with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. You will greet, engage, and interact with customers, process sales, loans and other transactions, and assist with inquiries and problem resolution. The role involves handling a variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics and firearms (in FFL locations).
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and display merchandise.
- Perform sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handle all cash and negotiable items in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Answer incoming calls in accordance with company standards.
- Effectively communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using effective communication tools.
- Partner with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Successfully complete assigned training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods: standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pulling, lifting.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
- May assist customers outside the building or retrieve items from exterior storage.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient basic math calculations.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work at multiple locations, as needed.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan InformationThe employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission, based on the gross profit of their personal performance.
Payrates will not be below any applicable local minimum wage requirements.
