Barcoder Trainee

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Following all Goodwill policies and safety procedures with professional etiquette.
• Processing all incoming softline and hardline goods, including clothing, household, and furniture items, maintaining high quality.
• Accurately barcoding and scanning garment brand labels, completing 3 racks every hour.
• Ensuring 40% of all units are branded to qualify for bonuses.
• Generating $7,500 in store sales from barcoded items every two weeks to be bonus eligible.
• Maintaining accurate and consistent prices for selected items and housewares.
• Separating acceptable clothing, wares, collectibles/antiques, and bin items.
• Receiving cross-training as Processor Trainee and Donation-Utility Associate to support employee growth and company productivity; additional cross-training at Benigno Retail Operations Center includes Material Handler, Baler, and Warehouse Helper.
• Stocking the sales floor as assigned.
• Keeping work and surrounding areas neat, clean, and orderly.
• Following customer service guidelines and providing exceptional service.
• Assisting customers and donors, including accepting donations and selling merchandise.
• Maintaining regular attendance.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.
