As a Security Guard Patrol Driver in Lumberton, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. This is an armed and driving post where you will respond with integrity, work as part of a team, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people‑first approach.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Mon  05:45 AM – 06:00 PM Sat 05:45 AM – 06:00 PM Sun 05:45 AM – 06:00 PM

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following site‑specific procedures, armed post orders, and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining awareness of security‑related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, controlled areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions needing attention.
• Monitor access points and movement throughout the location, verify credentials when required, and report security‑related concerns, policy violations, and suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, patrol findings, and incident details in clear reports, and communicate with site leadership and/or public sector personnel regarding security-related matters.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
