Clearstream Wastewater Systems is a respected manufacturer of aerobic wastewater treatment systems and onsite wastewater solutions serving residential and commercial markets across multiple states.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant who will take ownership of the company’s accounting accuracy, financial reporting, and day-to-day financial operations.
This is not a narrowly focused accounting role. This person will be responsible for ensuring the company’s financials are accurate, timely, organized, and properly maintained across the organization.
The ideal candidate is hands‑on, accountable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing the full financial picture of an operational manufacturing business.
What You’ll Do:Full Accounting & Financial Oversight
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations
- Ensure accuracy of all financial transactions, reporting, and reconciliations
- Maintain integrity of the general ledger and supporting accounting records
- Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes
- Review accounting activity to ensure accurate company‑wide financial reporting
- Take ownership of accounting accuracy and reporting processes throughout the business
- Prepare and oversee:
- Balance Sheets
- Cash Flow Reports
- Operational and management financial reports
- Additional responsibilities include:
- Monitoring company cash flow and financial health
- Reviewing variances and identifying discrepancies
- Assisting leadership with budgeting and financial planning
- Providing leadership with timely and accurate financial visibility
- Manage multi‑state tax filings and reporting
- Handle franchise tax filings and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with outside accountants, auditors, and tax professionals
- Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and reporting standards
- Utilize the IES accounting system
- Maintain organized accounting systems and financial documentation
- Use Microsoft Excel heavily for reconciliations, analysis, and reporting
- 3+ years of accounting or financial operations experience preferred
- Strong experience with:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Financial statement preparation
- P&L reporting
- Cash flow management
- Multi‑state taxes
- Strong understanding of financial accuracy and accounting controls
- Ability to independently oversee and manage accounting functions
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accountability
- Experience with accounting systems and ERP platforms required
- Familiarity with the IES accounting system strongly preferred
- Manufacturing accounting experience preferred
- Experience supporting operational or multi‑state businesses preferred
- Experience working directly with ownership or leadership teams strongly preferred
- High‑visibility role with ownership over accounting accuracy
