Job DescriptionProvide direct and consultative behavioral therapeutic and evaluative services. The BCBA conducts descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and provides behavior analytic interpretations of the result. The BCBA provides training to others to carry out ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions based on published research and designs and delivers instruction in behavior analysis.
CertificationBoard Certified Behavior Analyst
ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of educational experience.
Responsibilities- Develop and assist with individual behavior management programs for general education and special education students in the classroom, home and or inclusion setting.
- Direct staff training and development on a district PBIS program, MTSS/RTI behavior, and behavior management.
- Provide program/individual staff consultation on design and implementation of FBAs and BIPs.
- Facilitate team consultation meetings and IEP/ARDS with campus staff.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), ADOS evaluations, Classroom Needs Assessments, and Home Needs Assessments.
- Attend meetings, IEP/ARDs and MDRs to provide behavioral guidance.
- Engage in social and behavioral elements of the district.
- Plan and implement Home Training programs. Provide consultation to parents and Home Training/Behavior Interventionist staff.
- Conduct Home Needs Assessments and draft report to guide Home Training and/or Parent Training recommendations.
- Obtain and analyze data from Home Trainers.
- Address district/family questions or concerns regarding social-behavioral characteristics of student.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Special Education within the scope of job description.
Full-Time
Salary$51,940 to $81,620 Per Year
Job Requirements- Master's degree preferred.
