Human Resources Generalist

Join Lunenburg Operations as an HR Generalist in a 14-month contract role focused on human resources effectiveness. Emphasize employee support in disability management and recruitment for a dynamic Supply Chain sector.

As the HR Generalist, you will work closely with the HR Business Partner to manage human resources programs for unionized employees.

Your role involves providing guidance on performance and compliance issues, overseeing onboarding processes, and maintaining HRIS accuracy. Engage in employee training initiatives and uphold a positive, value-driven workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support management in disability claims and employee returns

• Oversee recruitment processes, including onboarding and orientations

• Offer HR guidance on collective agreement matters

• Maintain and validate HRIS records for payroll

• Organize training and employee engagement activities

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources, with union exposure

• Preference for a university degree and CPHR certification

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS (preferably UKG/Ulti Pro)

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

• Commitment to innovative practices and customer-centric approaches
