There is a long‑term substitute (maternity leave) coverage for June 15–18 and August 31 – November 20 at Lunenburg High School.

General

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with school personnel in providing, implementing, designing and/or adapting instructional programs in ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and/or Life Skills to meet the needs of identified students in a small group setting.

A primary focus of this position will be the establishment of a positive learning environment that promotes a high level of achievement for students while considering the background and developmental level of the individual student, and helping to transition them from a smaller group environment back into the mainstreamed school setting.

Appropriate Massachusetts Educator License required.

• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with administration and team members.
• Strong communication skills; verbal and non‑verbal.

• Teacher Substitute (days): $112
• LT Substitute – 16–40 days: $127
• LT Substitute – 41+ days: $260

Position Type: Full‑time

• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
