Job DescriptionThank you for considering employment in the Lunenburg Public Schools.
The candidate for this position should have a strong background in early literacy and mathematics.
There is an anticipated open Grade 2 Teacher position at the Lunenburg Primary School.
This teacher in this position will work with students in an inclusive setting.
GENERAL- The ideal candidate should be energetic, motivated individual to work with collaboratively with the second grade team members.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the content area and be familiar with responsive classroom strategies.
- The ideal candidate should be passionate and enthusiastic educator who can motivate students to discover their creative potential.
- Appropriate Massachusetts Educator License required - Early Childhood.
- Attendance at the New Teacher Orientation/Induction is required
- Strong knowledge of early childhood developmental stages
- Three years of experience, preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with administration and team members.
- Strong communications skills; verbal and non-verbal.
- Salary and benefits per Lunenburg Education Association contract.
- Hiring is subject to satisfactory CORI and SAFIS Background Checks per 603 CMR 51. Position Type:
