The candidate for this position should have a strong background in early literacy and mathematics.

There is an anticipated open Grade 2 Teacher position at the Lunenburg Primary School.

This teacher in this position will work with students in an inclusive setting.

• The ideal candidate should be energetic, motivated individual to work with collaboratively with the second grade team members.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the content area and be familiar with responsive classroom strategies.
• The ideal candidate should be passionate and enthusiastic educator who can motivate students to discover their creative potential.

• Appropriate Massachusetts Educator License required - Early Childhood.
• Attendance at the New Teacher Orientation/Induction is required
• Strong knowledge of early childhood developmental stages
• Three years of experience, preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with administration and team members.
• Strong communications skills; verbal and non-verbal.

• Salary and benefits per Lunenburg Education Association contract.
• Hiring is subject to satisfactory CORI and SAFIS Background Checks per 603 CMR 51. Position Type:
