Night Duty Manager - Hotel

Location: Luton
Pay: £16-£17 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 23:00-07:00
Working pattern: Monday to Sunday, including weekends

We are currently recruiting an experienced Night Duty Manager to work at a hotel in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong hotel background who can confidently manage overnight operations and deliver excellent customer service.

Previous experience using the Opera hotel management system is essential.

• Oversee the smooth running of hotel operations throughout the night.
• Manage guest enquiries, requests and complaints professionally.
• Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs and reservations.
• Use the Opera system to manage bookings, room allocations and guest information.
• Complete night audit procedures and prepare relevant reports.
• Ensure hotel security and follow all health and safety procedures.
• Handle unexpected situations and resolve issues efficiently.
• Liaise with other departments and ensure a thorough handover to the daytime team.

• Previous experience as a Hotel Duty Manager, Night Manager or in a similar supervisory role.
• Essential:
  Previous hands-on experience using the Opera hotel management system.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, including weekends.

Shifts run from 23:0 to 07:00
, with weekend availability required. Flexibility to work across the week is essential.
