Mobile Fleet Support needs an experienced HGV mechanic to join our workshop in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that strives to train and develop all employees to reach their full potential.
- Shifts: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday + Overtime available
- Salary: £17-£18.50, depending on experience + enhanced overtime rates
- Contract: Permanent, full time
You will be responsible for vehicle repairs, safety inspections, and MOT preparations. We require a responsible and independent HGV mechanic who can work on various vehicles, from commercial to small vans.
Responsibilities:- Carry out safety inspections
- Preventative maintenance checks
- Services
- MOT preparations
- Engine, gearbox, transmission, drive train, and clutch work
- Associated paperwork, reporting, and administration
- Must have a driving license
- Driving License Class 1 and Class 2 would be an advantage
- Reliable, trustworthy, literate, and able to work on your own initiative
- Must be flexible
- Previous experience is essential
City & Guilds qualified or NVQ qualified in vehicle maintenance - Enhanced overtime rates
- Private health and dental insurance
- Company vehicle if living in Luton
- Free onsite parking
- Friendly working environment
Luton workshop with occasional travel in the area.
