We are looking for an experienced Plant Fitter to join a well-established business based in Luton. This is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer to work on a varied range of construction and agricultural machinery in a well-equipped workshop environment.
The role will involve carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of plant and machinery. You'll join a supportive team where quality workmanship, safety and reliability are important.

As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing construction and agricultural plant machinery
- Diagnosing faults across mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing machinery faults
- Identifying additional repair requirements
- Completing job sheets and service documentation accurately
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience as a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer or similar
- Strong mechanical engineering and fault-finding experience
- Experience working on construction or agricultural machinery
- Good knowledge of hydraulic systems and diagnostics
- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment faults independently
- Engineering qualification or apprenticeship desirable
- Full UK driving licence
