Vehicle Technician

An established and reputable automotive business in Luton is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its busy workshop team. • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults

• Complete vehicle health checks and safety inspections

• Perform repairs to brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, clutches and other vehicle systems

• Conduct diagnostic investigations using manufacturer and aftermarket equipment

• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer and industry standards

• Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation

• Work collaboratively with workshop controllers, service advisors and fellow technicians

• Uphold excellent health and safety standards at all times

• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic

• Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 automotive qualification (or equivalent experience)

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Full UK driving licence

• MOT Tester qualification advantageous but not essential
