The Role

This role puts you at the heart of vehicle maintenance and repair. You’ll ensure that all vehicles are serviced and repaired to the highest standards. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, safety checks, and diagnostics on a range of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities As a Service Technician
  • Perform general maintenance, servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.
  • Follow job cards to carry out approved repairs in line with customer requirements.
  • Conduct safety checks and inspections on newly arrived vehicles.
  • Remove and refit components across various brands.
  • Follow warranty and service processes accurately
  • Diagnose and resolve basic mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Work collaboratively with your team to meet department goals.
The Ideal Service Technician

We’re seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to grow. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance
  • Experience working within a Volkswagen or Jaguar Land Rover dealership is essential for this role
  • Previous experience with working on motor vehicles.
  • Knowledge of multi-brand cars and vans.
  • Basic knowledge of EVs (training will be provided)
  • A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
