Senior Preconstruction Manager

We're partnering with a nationally recognised GC to hire a Senior Preconstruction Manager for their growing Tampa office. This is an opportunity to play a key role in winning and delivering some of the region's most high-profile commercial projects while joining a business with a strong backlog, outstanding culture, and a clear path for career progression.

As a Senior Preconstruction Manager, you'll lead the preconstruction process from initial pursuit through to project handover, working closely with owners, architects, consultants, and operations teams to develop competitive, value-driven proposals.

• Lead preconstruction efforts on projects ranging from $30M to $300M+
• Prepare detailed conceptual and hard bid estimates
• Develop budgets, cost plans, and value engineering solutions
• Manage subcontractor bidding, scope reviews, and procurement strategies
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure a seamless transition into construction
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners
• Mentor and support junior preconstruction staff

• 8+ years of preconstruction, estimating, or cost management experience with a General Contractor
• Experience delivering large-scale commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of conceptual estimating, budgeting, and value engineering
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple pursuits in a fast-paced environment
