- Deliver The Nest School’s proprietary curriculum in special classes during the week to each classroom
- Move from classroom to classroom and work alongside classroom teachers
- Serve as a role model for children and staff
- Ensure quality throughout weekly classes and programs
- Provide additional support to teachers, children, and families
- Train teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication techniques
- Participate as a member of the management team
- Assist the school leadership team with daily administrative tasks, including opening and closing procedures, touring, answering phones, classroom coverage, and monthly purchasing and organizing of curriculum supplies
- Experience in teaching/childcare: 3 years (Required)
- Current CDA Certificate, OR Associates or bachelor’s in education, OR degree in unrelated field with current CDA certificate
- Candidates must meet all state and Nest School requirements, clearing them to work with children in the childcare setting
- Ability to energetically model and participate in athletic activities, deep stretches, active songs, and free and silly dance routines
- Outgoing leadership qualities and desire to spread joy and fun to staff and children
- Health & Wellness Background/Knowledge (Preferred)
- Fine Arts & Music Background/Knowledge (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
Demonstrates expertise in delivering educational curriculum and training teachers in effective teaching styles while providing support to children and families. Possesses strong leadership qualities and the ability to engage in physical activities that promote health and wellness.
