Rooted To Bloom - Student Intern
Are you currently enrolled in a MSW or BSW program that requires a community clinical placement to graduate? We are seeking enthusiastic social work students who are passionate about working with pre-teens, teens, college students, and young adults! Our Rooted to bloom program is designed to cultivate the next generation of mental health providers globally by offering a space for professionals to root themselves, learn, grow, and ultimately bloom.
Requirements- Evening and weekend availability, available 15-20 hours per week, willingness to learn
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to participants, focusing on stress management, healthy coping skills, and other relevant mental health concerns.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising clinicians.
- Conduct intake assessments and maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Participate in weekly supervision meetings and receive guidance and feedback from experienced clinicians.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities provided by the program.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and effective mental health services.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by the program and relevant licensing bodies.
- Hands-on experience in providing therapeutic services under the supervision of experienced clinicians.

- Currently pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree or a novice registered intern in the field of mental health.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health support and services.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
- Previous experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting is preferred but not required.
