Role OverviewAs a Medical Office Representative
, you will support front desk operations in a busy cardiology practice by performing duties related to revenue cycle operations, patient scheduling, registration, and administrative support. This role is essential to creating a positive patient experience while ensuring efficient office operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing patient check-in and check-out processes
- Collecting payments and supporting revenue cycle activities
- Scheduling appointments, procedures, and surgeries
- Handling patient inquiries and responding to scheduling needs
- Entering orders and maintaining accurate patient information
- Utilizing various computer programs to manage schedules and patient records
- Managing patient communications and appointment coordination
- Supporting office workflow through administrative and clerical duties
- Maintaining accurate documentation and data entry
- Performing other duties as assigned
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Required:
- Six (6) months of Healthcare experience OR
- Six (6) months of Customer Service experience
