About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Service Now ITOM Analyst to support and optimize our Service Now IT Operations Management (ITOM) platform. This role focuses heavily on Discovery, MID Server infrastructure, and Event Management
, while also contributing to broader platform administration and core ITSM support.
You will work closely with IT, infrastructure, and security teams to enhance visibility, automation, and operational performance across the enterprise technology environment. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative team of Service Now administrators and developers.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain Service Now ITOM, with a strong focus on:
- Discovery
- MID Server deployment, tuning, and upgrades
- Event Management configuration and optimization
- Partner with network, server, and application teams to ensure accurate service mapping and infrastructure visibility
- Monitor and optimize MID Server performance and availability
- Configure and tune Event Management rules, alert correlation, and dashboards
- Troubleshoot platform issues including performance concerns and integration errors
- Maintain documentation for configurations, updates, and processes
- Stay current with Service Now releases and ITOM best practices
- Recommend improvements and drive automation initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in Service Now administration or technical infrastructure/operations support
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts (servers, databases, networking, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)
- Experience with CMDB concepts and configuration item (CI) relationships
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Service Now certifications (CSA, CIS-Discovery)
- ITIL v3.2011 or ITIL 4 Foundation certification (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Service Now Discovery
- Event Management
- MID Server administration
