Title: Network / Systems Analyst

Location: BOC 1006 E Bearss Ave, Lutz, FL 33549

Duration: 6 Months contract

Hours: M-F 8am
-5pm

Openings: 2

Hybrid: 4 days onsite

Key Requirements: Hands‑on experience with Cisco ISE, network segmentation, or Catalyst Center

Responsibilities
  • Patch and upgrade Cisco network equipment (routers and switches), conduct vulnerability assessments, and support design and implementation of secure, resilient network infrastructure.
  • Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, SDN, Cisco ACI fabrics, and OT networks for high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Deploy, maintain, and optimize Cisco network technologies including routers, switches, wireless access points, and ACI components with proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle upgrades.
  • Enhance network security and compliance by developing, implementing, and enforcing policies related to segmentation, NAC enforcement, and industry‑aligned standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain network segmentation strategies, including micro‑segmentation and policy‑based controls across ACI and traditional environments.
  • Administer NAC technologies such as Cisco ISE, ensuring secure device authentication, access enforcement, and continuous posture assessments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to network infrastructure, DDoS protection, NAC, segmentation policies, and load balancer load balancers.
  • Provide project leadership and collaborate with peers on network security, segmentation strategy, and compliance initiatives.
Required Experience
  • 5–7 years of experience planning, designing, implementing, and supporting new and existing network systems.
  • Extensive hands‑on experience with Cisco routers, switches, wireless access points, and route/switch configuration.
  • Strong background in patching and upgrading Cisco network equipment.
  • Proficiency in router/switch configuration and break‑fix troubleshooting.
  • 8 years of experience in network management focusing on Cisco technologies, WAN, SDN, and ACI environments.
  • Experience implementing network segmentation and NAC enforcement.
Preferred
  • Experience with data center architectures, OT network environments, and regulated industries such as utilities.
  • Experience with cloud, compute, and storage ecosystems, ITIL processes, and vendor/operations management.
  • Advanced IP networking knowledge and understanding of industry‑specific compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with network licensing optimization, cloud networking solutions, and modern hybrid architectures.
  • Commitment to staying current with technological advancements and best practices.
Licenses / Certifications
  • CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent professional certifications.
  • Additional certifications in Cisco ACI, Cisco ISE, or SDN networking are advantageous.
Nice‑to‑have Skills
  • Experience with load balancers (Net Scaler, F5).
  • Experience using Solar Winds, Net Flow or similar network monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to DDoS protection solutions.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Patching and upgrading Cisco routers and switches, vulnerability remediation, and maintaining secure operational readiness.
  • Designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure across Power Plants, Solar Fields, and Control Centers with Cisco routers, switches, wireless APs, and ACI fabrics.
  • Performing network device replacements, upgrades, and lifecycle refreshes across multiple sites.
  • Partnering with cross‑functional teams for seamless deployment of server, storage, and infrastructure components.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to network infrastructure, DDoS protection, NAC, segmentation policies, and Net Scaler load balancers.
  • Providing project leadership and collaborating with peers on network security, segmentation strategy, and compliance initiatives.
