Integration Architect (Enterprise Integration)
Location: Lutz, FL (Onsite)
Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote (One onsite day must be Wednesday)
Duration: 12-Month Contrac
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Integration Architect to design, govern, and optimize enterprise integrations across cloud and on-premises environments. This role will focus on a next-generation Advanced Distribution Infrastructure (ADI) technology platform, supporting both IT and OT (Operational Technology) integration initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience designing enterprise integration architectures, establishing integration standards, and working with modern API technologies. Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with cross-functional project teams are essential.
Primary Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a comprehensive current-state map of all integration points across the ADI ecosystem.
- Identify integration dependencies, system ownership, and end-to-end data flows.
- Design secure, scalable, end-to-end integration architectures that align with enterprise security, compliance, and architectural standards.
- Define, implement, and govern enterprise integration standards and best practices.
- Develop risk-based integration standards and governance processes.
- Maintain and enforce integration decision trees and architectural guidelines.
- Create and maintain a centralized inventory of enterprise integrations.
- Support Service Mapping efforts by documenting integrations within the CMDB.
- Partner with project teams to architect and design integrations, including APIs, messaging, and low-level data integrations.
- Ensure integration solutions are reliable, secure, scalable, and maintainable.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout project life cycles.
- Experience designing enterprise integration architectures across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Hands‑on experience with the Boomi Integration Platform (required).
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration technologies and frameworks.
- Experience designing and securing RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of API security standards, including:
- OAuth
- OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- JWT (JSON Web Tokens)
- Experience with common integration technologies, including:
- REST/Web Services
- SOAP
- JSON
- XML
- XML Schema Definition (XSD)
- Experience with business process automation and orchestration platforms.
- Ability to document complex integration landscapes and data flows.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and integration governance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting utility, energy, or operational technology (OT) environments.
- Experience with CMDB Service Mapping.
- Knowledge of enterprise security and compliance best practices.
- Experience establishing enterprise integration standards and governance models.
