Cleaning Technician (Part-Time)

Peace of Mind Facility and Home Services is excited to announce an opening for a part-time Cleaning Technician.

• This position is a Church in Lutz, FL, 3 days per week , Sunday 8:30pm - 11:45pm, Wednesday morning 7:00am-12noon, & Wednesday 8:30pm-11:45pm.
• $15.00 /hour
• This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of assigned spaces, thereby directly impacting our client s satisfaction and health. Located within our facilities, this job is onsite and requires direct interaction with various environments—ranging from commercial and industrial spaces to residential areas. As a Cleaning Technician, you’ll ensure that all spaces are pristine, safe, and welcoming for occupants and visitors alike.

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize all assigned areas, following specific procedures and schedules.
• Utilize a variety of cleaning tools and equipment, ensuring all are maintained in good working order and stored properly after use.
• Perform dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to remove dirt, debris, and dust from floors and other surfaces.
• Disinfect and sanitize high-contact surfaces to prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses.
• Manage waste removal and ensure proper segregation and disposal as per the environmental guidelines.
• Replenish supplies and materials in bathrooms, kitchen areas, and other facilities as necessary.
• Report and communicate regularly with management regarding the status of cleaning tasks and any potential issues or needs.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, wearing protective gear as required and using cleaning agents appropriately.
• Inspect areas for maintenance needs and report any damage or repairs needed to the facility management.
• Stay updated with new cleaning techniques and products that can increase efficiency and effectiveness.

• Proven experience as a Cleaning Technician or similar role with a strong track record of successful cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including appropriate safety measures and usage guidelines.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets and ability to follow safety protocols to prevent hazards.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional service to clients and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to operate and maintain various cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, floor buffers, and other maintenance equipment.
• Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Good communication skills, proficient in understanding and following written and verbal instructions.
• Reliability and punctuality, with a professional attitude towards staff and customers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in Cleaning Technology is a plus.
• Eligibility to work in the specified location and readiness to perform the physical duties of the job.
