Electronics Technician - XRays

The Electronics Technician utilizes tools, fixtures, and work instructions to support repair of low‑complexity electronic modules, X‑ray tanks and detectors, and/or metal detector repair and new‑build production.

• Follow detailed work instructions, processes and procedures.
• Diagnose, refurbish and repair product inspection equipment in accordance with risk assessment and safe mechanical and electrical guidelines.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and material to repair supervisors and/or repair manager.
• Document actions by completing quality checklists.
• Work with supervision to understand our process capabilities and develop ideas that reduce costs and improve quality.
• Provide basic hands‑on job function training to coworkers as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co‑workers and management.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Accurately track and record time spent on projects.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Perform entry‑level SAP transactions.
• Assist higher‑level technicians as needed and learn for advancement.
• Carry out tasks in one of the areas below:
  • Perform return evaluation process to diagnose, refurbish and test X‑ray generators with support/supervision.
  • Evaluate, repair and test MT X‑ray detectors with support/supervision.
  • Disassemble and perform the tank cleaning process for refurbishment.
  • Evaluate MT Flex industrial computers for repair.
  • Enter detailed QN tasks.
