This role is ideal for someone early in their machining career who enjoys a hands-on manufacturing environment and wants to continue developing their machining skills while working for a stable global manufacturer.

- The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

Set up and operate manual mills, manual lathes, and plastic machining equipment

Receive, verify, and stage incoming raw materials

Safely load and unload material manually and with a forklift

Deburr machined parts and verify quality requirements

Read blueprints and engineered drawings to manufacture precision components

Follow daily production schedules and prioritize work accordingly

Confirm completed production in SAP and stage finished parts

Perform cycle counting and inventory transactions

Complete Quality at the Source inspections

Record labor and production information accurately

Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment

Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S principles

Follow all safety procedures and company policies

- What We're Looking For Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

1+ years of machining or manufacturing experience

Ability to read blueprints and engineered drawings

Basic machine setup experience

Experience using manual mills and lathes

Ability to safely load and unload machines

Basic SAP knowledge

Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles

Ability to work with both imperial and metric measurements

Strong attention to detail

Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to quality and workplace safety

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred

Forklift experience

Plastic machining experience

Experience working in a manufacturing production environment

Previous experience with Hardinge, GMC, or Bridgeport equipment
