Mettler Toledo continues to grow its manufacturing operations and is looking for a dependable CNC Machinist I to support production of precision components used in the company's industry-leading measurement and analytical products.

This role is ideal for someone early in their machining career who enjoys a hands‑on manufacturing environment and wants to continue developing their machining skills while working for a stable global manufacturer.

• Set up and operate manual mills, manual lathes, and plastic machining equipment
• Receive, verify, and stage incoming raw materials
• Safely load and unload material manually and with a forklift
• Deburr machined parts and verify quality requirements
• Read blueprints and engineered drawings to manufacture precision components
• Follow daily production schedules and prioritize work accordingly
• Confirm completed production in SAP and stage finished parts
• Perform cycle counting and inventory transactions
• Complete Quality at the Source inspections
• Record labor and production information accurately
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S principles
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of machining or manufacturing experience
• Ability to read blueprints and engineered drawings
• Basic machine setup experience
• Experience using manual mills and lathes
• Ability to safely load and unload machines
• Basic SAP knowledge
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Ability to work with both imperial and metric measurements
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment
• Commitment to quality and workplace safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Forklift experience
• Plastic machining experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing production environment
• Previous experience with Hardinge, GMC, or Bridgeport equipment
