- Admissions, Discharge, and Transfers of residents
- Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
- Medication administration
- Follow infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
- Collaborate with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
- Identify and report all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy
- Work under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and procedures, and nursing judgment
- Deliver nursing care to patients/residents requiring long‑term or rehabilitative care
- Collect patient/resident data, make observations, and report pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident
- Implement the patient/resident plan of care and evaluate the patient/resident response according to state-specific regulations
- Direct and supervise care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations per state-specific regulations
- Maintain knowledge of necessary documentation requirements
- Maintain knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.
- Maintain confidentiality and patient/resident rights regarding all patient/resident/personal information
- LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed by the State
- CPR Certification required
- Two years of prior nursing experience preferred
This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.
