Tampa Lakes Health & Rehabilitation is a 179-bed Skilled Nursing facility in Lutz, Florida and is designed for culture change based on the national movement for more individualized care. Registered Nurse (RN)Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:
- Work in accordance with the guidelines established by the Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and procedures, and sound nursing judgment.
- Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care delivered to patients and residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitation care.
- Deliver nursing care to patients and residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care.
- Implement the patient and resident plan of care and evaluate the response.
- Direct and supervise care provided by other nursing personnel.
- Provide input in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care.
- Maintain knowledge of documentation requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use such as monitors, infusion devices, drain devices.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with patient and resident rights, relating to all patient, resident, personnel information.
- Provide patient, resident, family or caregiver education as appropriate and directed.
- Conduct self in a professional manner in compliance with unit and facility policies.
- Work rotating shifts, holidays and weekends as scheduled.
Education and Experience
- Graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing.
- Minimum one year of medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care (hospital) setting or long-term care setting (acute/critical care is preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse license in state(s) of practice. Reliable source of transportation required.
The Registered Nurse is responsible to plan and deliver nursing care to patients and residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care.
