Position Details:

St. Joseph Hospital North, 4211 Van Dyke Rd, Lutz, FL 33558 - Status:
Fulltime - Shift: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- On Call:
Yes - Always in person

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:
- RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
- RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
This position requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience. For this position, we prefer at least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room.
Requirements:
- Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
- Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
- Preferred Nurse Specialty
