My Myco Lab is a high-complexity laboratory that tests for 14 IgG and 14 IgG antibodies to mycotoxins. My Myco Lab is looking for a candidate who wants to grow with the company and work towards one main goal: helping people. The location is in Lutz, FL.
Job DescriptionAs a Lab Technician at Mymycolab LLC you will play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn about laboratory processes. You will be responsible for supporting our lab team in various capacities, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and accurately.
Must be located in the Tampa, FL area!
- Training provided for ELISA testing.
- Laboratory organization.
- Ordering supplies, cleaning glassware, receiving and stocking supplies and keeping inventory of reagents.
- Maintaining a detailed lab notebook of activities.
- Prepare samples and reagents for analysis.
- Perform quality control tests to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
- Analyze experimental data and prepare reports for review.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot experiments and optimize protocols.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- 2-3 years if laboratory experience.
- Comfortable working as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of good laboratory practices (GLP) and safety regulations.
- Licensed in Florida
- Prior experience in a lab environment is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of lab safety protocols is beneficial.
- Working together as a team to obtain the best results.
