Responsibilities
  • SALES FLOOR:
    Understands organizational objectives and makes decisions that align with Company priorities.
  • Take ownership and deliver results while remaining aware of personal and store metrics; create personal sales and clienteling strategies in partnership with the management team.
  • Create short- and long-term strategies to achieve personal metrics and performance goals.
  • Take ownership of personal survey results and create plans to improve areas of opportunity.
  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador; demonstrate Coach’s Selling and Service expectations at all times.
  • Understand changes in local market with potential impact on business performance and support the execution of local sales strategies and tactics.
  • Drive business through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers, and maintaining ongoing productive relationships with customers.
  • Create positive impressions with customers by presenting attire consistent with Coach’s Guide to Style.
  • Build credibility as a personal fashion advisor with knowledge of fashion, competition, features, benefits, and product value.
  • Communicate current pricing and promotional strategy to customers.
  • Discuss product features and leverage cross-selling opportunities; encourage add-ons relevant to the customer’s needs.
  • Tailor approach to customers’ needs by reading cues; attend to unique and individual shopping needs.
  • Work with multiple customers simultaneously and provide appropriate breaks as needed.
  • Follow up with customers consistently to influence/close the sale; adapt selling techniques to contribute to store results.
  • Build lasting relationships and leverage Coach tools to support clienteling efforts.
  • Create enthusiasm for a shared vision and promote a team-selling environment; foster teamwork and collaboration with internal and external customers.
  • Remain solution oriented; be adaptable to changing business and store needs; welcome feedback and adjust behavior; maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times.
Operations
  • Ensure daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service or Coach standards.
  • Complete daily operational tasks including maintaining store, backroom, cash wrap, and visual merchandising to Coach standards.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy selling floor at all times.
  • Adhere to all applicable retail policies and procedures including POS, Operations and Asset Protection.
  • Replenish inventory on the sales floor as needed.
  • Support Store Inventory Process by processing shipments, stocking shelves, and maintaining strong organizational standards for product in stockroom and on the sales floor.
  • Support cash-wrap when needed to process purchases, returns, and exchanges.
  • Efficiently process customer transactions:
    Purchase, Return, Exchange, Found Order, etc.
  • Prepare store by organizing functional areas, performing routine cleaning, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
  • Drive for results; exceed goals and be a top performer; focus on the bottom line.
  • Customer focus; meet expectations of internal and external customers; establish and maintain effective relationships and trust.
  • Creativity; generate new ideas and creative connections; be seen as original and value-added in brainstorming settings.
