Part-Time Inventory Specialist

Overview

Phyle Inventory Control Specialists (PICS) is an inventory service provider for major retailers. We are seeking motivated, accurate, reliable, and efficient customer-service oriented team members. Prior experience in the inventory service industry is preferred but not required. You will be responsible for counting inventory at major retailers. Some travel is required, with carpool generally provided from a meet site for inventories over 30 miles outside your assigned territory.

Part-Time Inventory Specialist – Lutz, FL

• Count inventory for assigned retailers.
• Stand, reach, kneel, bend, and count merchandise across shelves from top to bottom using handheld data devices.
• Enter data into a handheld collection device (10-key data entry) and use a handheld scanner.
• Coordinate with team members to complete inventories on schedule.

• No experience necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Work schedules based on customer requirements; early mornings, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation to inventory sites (public or private).
• Reliable means of communication (phone).

• 4–8 hours on average (on site until job completion) with physical activity including stepping up on stools, kneeling, standing, and stooping to count merchandise from top to bottom.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Frequent reaching and stretching to view merchandise (duration varies by client).

• Paid on-the-job training.
• Competitive pay starting at $15.00/hr or higher; rapid pay advance based on skillset.
