Role Description The Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based at Subaru South Tampa’s location in Lutz, FL. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their needs, and presenting appropriate Subaru vehicles and options. The Sales Associate conducts test drives, explains vehicle features and benefits, prepares price quotes, and supports customers through financing and purchase processes. Daily responsibilities include following up with leads, maintaining product knowledge, updating customer records in dealership systems, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a smooth sales experience.

The Sales Associate also helps maintain a professional showroom appearance and participates in sales events and promotions.
Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for explaining vehicle features, pricing, and financing options clearly.
• Basic sales skills including negotiation, closing techniques, and handling customer inquiries and objections.
• Comfort with using dealership systems, CRM tools, and digital resources to manage leads and customer information.
• Ability to work on-site full time, including evenings and weekends as needed in a retail automotive environment.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to ethical sales practices.
• Interest in the automotive industry and willingness to learn detailed product knowledge about Subaru vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail, customer service, or sales experience is beneficial.
