Experienced RNs are invited to join the Solutions by Sanford team.
Required qualifications include:
- At least one year of nursing experience
- At least six months of travel nursing experience
- Residence at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- You will be paid weekly, and your stipend is included in the weekly pay rate.
- Eligibility for Sanford benefits.
- Contracts last 14 weeks with options to extend or transfer to another Sanford site.
The Registered Nurse (RN) uses the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. The RN collaborates with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The RN demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise, utilizing appropriate age‑and population‑specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting.
The RN provides care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up as patients move along the continuum of care. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions. The RN functions within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and administrative rules in the state of practice and licensure.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (e.g., AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA).
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
