Deliver care within the RN scope of practice, as defined in the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and in accordance with current federal, state and Veterans Administration regulations.

Provide assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver quality resident‑centered care to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the residents.

An intermittent employee works an irregular and uncertain schedule, based on the needs of the home. Intermittent employees must be available to work all shifts and some weekends.

• Licensed in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions and in good standing.
• Must obtain MN license by date of hire if not currently licensed.
• Future RN candidates within six months of graduating and taking the NCLEX‑RN are encouraged to apply.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or ability to obtain by date of hire.
• Effective communication sufficient to provide and follow instructions and teach skills to residents.
• Computer skills sufficient to complete electronic charting, specifically in Point Click Care .

• A Minnesota Department of Human Services background check may be conducted on the top finalist(s); the finalist must pass.
• Tuberculosis (Mantoux) screening or chest x‑ray required prior to employment.
