Job Overview

Part‑time (20 hrs per week) evening shift nursing assistant position (Nursing Assistant / CNA).

Working hours:

2:15pm – 10:45pm on weekdays, every other weekend and rotating holidays. Shift differential for working after 6pm and on weekends. Salary: $21.00–$24.36 per hour depending on experience. $2,500 sign‑on bonus. No union. Eligible for dental and vision benefits as part‑time employee.

• Assist resident with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and daily living activities.
• Obtain and record vital signs and conduct basic health assessments.
• Support resident in transfers, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques and equipment; provide range‑of‑motion and passive exercises.
• Assist with meal preparation, dining, and feeding; provide water and supplements.
• Document resident interactions, behaviors, activity, and dietary outcomes; update care plan information.
• Communicate changes in resident condition or care concerns to the charge nurse.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain resident areas.
• Encourage resident participation in wellness and recreational programs; provide documentation.
• Assist nursing staff with procedures as required.
• Participate in departmental committees or task forces when requested.

• High school graduate or GED (preferred; not required).
• Minimum age 16.
• Prior nursing assistant or long‑term care experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required at hire; must be obtained within four months of start date or be enrolled in an approved program.
• Complete yearly competency testing; maintain required educational and certification credits (minimum 12hrs annually).
• Maintain all required state certifications; may require UAP Registry registration.
• Possible driver’s license and motor vehicle report for optional driving duties, subject to facility requirements.
