Key Responsibilities

* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.)

* Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations

* Test components and verify proper operation after repairs

* Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system

* Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers

* Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked

* Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner

* Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service

* Follow all safety regulations and company policies

* Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities

* Participate in on-call rotation as assigned

Qualifications

* 3+ years of commercial cooking equipment repair experience preferred

* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required

* Strong gas and/or electric troubleshooting experience

* Solid understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components

* Excellent customer service and communication skills

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions

* Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters

* Own industry standard hand tools

* Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed

Compensation Transparency

The advertised pay range for this position is $30-$40 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications. Candidates with advanced expertise in commercial hot-side equipment may be considered toward the higher end of the range.
