Position: Front Desk Student Assistant for Aeronautics

The occupant of this position will act as a student worker for the School of Aeronautics. The occupant will be part of a fast‑paced and dynamic team.

Job duties include greeting guests, answering phones, handling incoming and outgoing mail, assisting with events and activities, general office organization, administrative projects, and providing general assistance to the Associate Dean, Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, and faculty.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Open and close the lobby, keeping it clean, tidy, and stocked.
  • Tidy and stock briefing rooms.
  • Promptly respond to phone calls and voicemail messages.
  • Extend hospitality to all, greeting and directing students and guests.
  • Give tours of the Academic Center as needed.
  • Answer questions (or direct to appropriate person) from students, faculty, staff, prospective students, and outside vendors.
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Inform the Administrative Assistant of low inventory.
  • Assist with special events.
  • Assist with various projects as needed.
  • Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies

    Must be a registered student of Liberty University. Current School of Aeronautics student preferred.
