Position Summary: Performs a variety of clerical, bookkeeping and administrative support functions in a school setting and other related work as required by the principal.
Essential Functions- Performs duties and executes special assignments and tasks under only general supervision.
- Serves as receptionist for school visitors and students, delivers messages, refers visitors and students to proper personnel.
- Prepares memos, lists, reports, correspondence and other materials from directives or responds directly to general inquiries as requested.
- Assists with programs regarding operation of office equipment.
- Keeps accurate records, collects data and prepares reports as required.
- Is tactful and courteous with all school personnel, students and visitors and maintains up‑to‑date office areas.
- Maintains the confidentiality of reports, records and personal experiences of a private nature regarding students, school employees and patrons.
