Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Students in this role fulfill various tasks in support of the Washington Fellowship. Tasks include hosting weekly info sessions in the Career Center, classroom presentations to promote the Washington Fellowship, updating EXCEL spreadsheets, and assisting professional staff with general office duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Assisting with career fairs, greeting employers and assisting with set up and tear down.
- Tabling for The Washington Fellowship in common areas and at career fairs.
- Assisting professional staff members with projects.
- Complete on-going training and attend regularly scheduled meetings.
- Other duties, as assigned.

- Education and Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, attention to detail.
- Takes initiative, highly motivated and organized.
- Must be a former participant in the Washington Fellowship.
- Communication and Comprehension Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well articulated information.
- Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
- Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University to a variety of business and community customers and associates.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Problem Solving Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.
- Occasionally required to travel to local and campus locations.
- Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard.
- (If not administrative duties, such as labor, define general physical abilities.
- Regularly required to hear and speak in order to effectively communicate orally.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the building.
- Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop in order to conduct business.
- Regularly lift 10 or fewer pounds.
Work Environment The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lighted and the noise level is moderate. (Define if outdoor, dusty, weather conditions, etc.)

Pay Rate Starting at $12.77 Student employees are paid at least the current Virginia minimum wage per hour.
Pay may vary by position and department based on job responsibilities, required skills, available funding, and market conditions.
