Working independently and exercising good judgment and discretion, the Department of Public and Community Health is seeking a highly organized, punctual, dependable, and customer service-oriented student worker to be part of the team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Assists students, faculty, and staff on a daily basis in all areas of Public & Community Health.
  • Must exhibit patience, courtesy, respect, active listening skills, and highly-effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Some research, department/event preparation, and customer service assistance.
  • Occasional Social Media Platform assistance.
  • Strictly adheres to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner.
  • Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.

Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies
  • Must be eligible for Federal Work Study Program.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Good customer service skills, strong attention to detail, professional attitude, ability to stay self-motivated, and complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Must be familiar with Health Promotion equipment and must have computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Business casual dress is required.

Time Type Part time Location Onsite Pay Rate Starting at $12.77 Student employees are paid at least the current Virginia minimum wage per hour. Pay may vary by position and department based on job responsibilities, required skills, available funding, and market conditions.
